One of the new innovations at Elite Wheel Company is "Billet Wheels".

The client can provide an idea or a drawing of whatever design they want for the wheel.

A process involving Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems transforms a customers idea into a 3 dimensional computer image. Throughout this process final machining dimensions are defined.

Spun alloy billet blanks are used as a basis for the wheels centre section, then using Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machinery the wheel centre is machined to the contour of the predetermined shape.

The centre is then highly polished before being fitted into the centre of the rim. These images show the unique welding using Elites new "Super Pulse Mig". These 18"x10" wheels have just been completed for staff member Deans 1964 Chevrolet Impala.

Every finished set of billet wheels is not only unique but can also reflect each customers individuality or personality.

Elite can also carry out alterations to any existing billet wheels. The following images depict the machining away of a previous manufacturers unacceptable weld and then the machining and relocation of the wheel centre. This was achieved to allow custom fitting which eliminates tyre rub without altering the vehicles structure.
